MOP guys, I know you were/are crazy busy for this event due to many problems but I just have one little hotel question: what would be the best place to go to if I wanted to arrange something like late check out on Sunday?

major hotel chains. places like Holiday Inn have the most rooms and allow for the most flexible checking in and out times from my experience. not sure how much more to help ya then to tell ya to call the front desks and just ask, id love to, but this Developmental Biology Lab Report is keeping me quite busy. Scrambling to get it done before people start showing up! Keeping in mind theres a pre party tonight, and im only on page 13 🙁 Due monday guys, trust me, once i get this thing done, you will see a new version of Abrahm on this dance floor.

by the way its on observing different staining methods in different, mutated Drosophila melanogaster (fruit fly) embryos, and observing them on slides during development to see where various genes are now expressed improperly, by following the staining patterns. For example, the attenapedia mutation causes a leg to grow out of the fly's forehead instead of an antenna. Pretty crazy 🙂

P.S. one last thing! Facebook is showing us the greatest response weve ever had! We are over 140 CONFIRMED facebook attendees now and still growin'! The word is out, the students are braving their boundaries now that the University of Iowa has decided to help us out! This is going to be a big one in terms of opening up peoples eyes to this music and community. Prepare for take off… 😉

I do have a place available for people to crash if needed. It is in Cedar Rapids, which is about 20 mins from the venue, but I have a HUGE sectional and another couch and plenty of chill space and you can leave whenever you want.  So if anyone is interested, let me know!
