atta boy! I know we can justify charging 2 and even 3 dollars for water, but to be honest, $1 waters will ENHANCE this event for all those that understand how much waters can cost at different venues and events.
think of the NOOBS, never been to a psy party before, wander in, and find out that not only is this the craziest, most quality event they ever thought theyd attend, but the event organizers are generous enough that they have decided not to rape people on beverage prices too?! they will go WOW, [crazy facial expression] what the hell is going on!? this is WAY MORE THAN A PARTY!
and then all of those who helped contribute to the event get to sit back and smile, high fives around, back rubs for everyone, because damn, we just made someones day.
its facial expressions like the one mentioned above that are priceless, timeless, and absolutely invaluable.
SO BRING IT ON TRANCERS, i want this dance floor to be THROBBING!

damonMemberyes there will be in and outs since smoking must take place outside. and the UIowa has a rule of no smoking within 25 feet of any university building, but this will not be strongly enforced due to the nature of the event and the timing of things. still, the point is that people will be going in and out all night to smoke, grab changes of clothes from their car, etc. etc. etc.

I don't have a problem to find a hotel smart ass, I need to find a friendly one that won't charge me too much extra for the late check out on Sunday so I can check in on Saturday before the party, take a shower and relax after the drive and then come back after the party and get enough sleep before heading back. So, I am asking MOP guys (NOT U) if they maybe know someone in the area willing to cut a deal or something.
