The times at the bottom are how long until your start to get permanent damage to your hearing. This is for any human being, and whether you want to believe it or not it's the truth.
I brought a decibel meter to multiple events and right up at the speakers you're looking at around 100db, so look at the chart and do the math. They are your ears to waste away… ::) I'll go ahead be a pussy ::) 😛 ;D

I don't care if it has been 13 years, psy is full of different intricate sounds and I bet you now hear much less of the intricacies. You'll never know this though, because you can't flip a switch and see what you're missing. So I guess ignorance is bliss in your case. Congratulations.

Well, my point is, you can't possibly know that, because you have no reference point. You have no way of comparing what loud music sounded like 13 years ago to what it sounds like now. But, if it sounds good to you, and it makes you happy then it doesn't matter, but I'd still recommend earplugs for at least some of the time.
PauldoMemberI'm all about protecting my hearing. Why lose any of it if you don't have to? No doubt I've lost some hearing from all the partys over the years when I didn't bring my ears and the hours I've spent at gun ranges. I'm keeping whatever hearing I have left. Even at the Emerald City parties I would pop my ears in if I was going up front by the speakers.
