A pleasure to attend yet another MOP masterpiece :).  Stomped the whole night with beautiful music and beautiful people.  It really got fun for me later on as Chris and Trevor threw down with a set that blew my mind and Airyck's set was truly a treat, so strong, beautiful, and powerful…  It really was amazing, everytime he impresses me and soothes my soul with his intense sets.  I couldn't stomp smiling throughout his entire set.

I always kind of regret not mingling enough and meeting the faces I have been seeing so often.  It was nice talking to the few that I did, i'm just rather shy for the most part.  Hmm really enjoyed the no smoking inside it makes parties so much better.  I also thought the party ended too early, but all things considered with the venue it didn't matter that much and…  most the people I came with were drained anyhow haha.

Can't wait till the next one…  More and more Minnesotans are excited to come to your parties everytime we make the trek out there.  The newbies I brought had an awesome time, really loved the amazing vibe, the music, the people, and haha said they loved how there wasn't ANY creepy guys compared to there always being a lot of creepy guys at MN partys.  Keep doing what your doing guys it's much appreciated…

p.s. only one little thing to orgs of that and other incoming events: it's hard to relax and totally get into spinning when you have to be bend over the turntables maintaining 90 degree position all the time; elevaiting the whole dj setup by a foot or two would really increase dj experience.

Negatives:

Sound towards the end of the party was pretty bad (at the end of Trevor/Chris and throughout much of Airyck's set)…  I know it's typical and almost a given that every dj is going to run in the red, but with the limiters on the speakers it just ends up sounding oversaturated in the highs because of the distortion, and loses the controlled, clear, punchy sound that is really needed to trance everyone out to the fullest extent.

I noticed this too. The K-BB sounds in much of Airyck's set just sounded like a low freq rumble. I still enjoyed it tho since I knew what it was supposed to sound like  ;D
In fact, I've heard similar issues with psy morning sets at numerous other parties. It's caused me to think of a lot of morning tracks as “earthquake music” hehe

I was very happy with this party.  Next time there will be an earlier setup crew, way better sound, much better promotion, the main area in the atrium, one of our best lineups yet, and many many more surprises tba!  I am so happy with our scene now.  So many wonderful people come to these things, and now even our own city is getting heavily involved.  It makes me feel so happy inside 🙂 *sniff sniff*  I love you all!  🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
