Sudo Make InstallKeymasterfew more details:
-please do not park on the street. the parking enforcement in that area is very unclear, and while you won't get towed for parking on the street, you might get a parking ticket. There are 3 parking garages nearby on Market St, Monroe St, and Front St. All are just a few blocks from the venue, and have free overnight parking. Use those to be safe.
-Ins and Outs are allowed. There are several bars and restaurants nearby, as well as our favorite Hookah bar, The Smoker's Den, which is one block away. There is also one of our favorite pizza/pasta joints right next door, Lucca Grille. We do ask that you make every effort to come prepared to stay.
-We ask that you arrive before 8pm if you want to come early for the show before Metatronic. There will be no general admission between 800pm and 930pm. This is to minimize incoming traffic to the venue and to be respectful to their show beforehand.
-Alcohol sales are over at 1230pm at the venue. THERE WILL BE NO ALCOHOL FOR SALE AFTER THIS TIME.
-We can always use help with setup. Please contact me directly if you'd like to come out tomorrow, Friday.
Any other questions, please have your people contact our people. 🙂 See you all this weekend!
PookztAMemberwtf are you waiting for Saturday? why don't you just cut in front of Friday?? what are you waiting for???
mannnn I know I should be enjoying the current MOMENT but how can one stay focused on the NOW when there's a nearby Psytrance celebration less than 48 hours away?!?!?!

AscensionKeymasterDamn
Sudo Make InstallKeymasterDouble damn
PookztAMemberdouble damn indeed, what a fun time! thanks to everyone who contributed to the event in anyway, you all did an excellent job. it felt great to stomp it up again with so many awesome people that I don't get to see very often. great music from all the musicians I heard and the venue worked out nicely. can't wait to do it again with all of ya at SEOA2011 🙂
way to keep it goa'n Chilluminati, It's hard to imagine what life would be like without ya'll!
Blaize224MemberI also wanted to thank everyone for all the effort and hard work to make this event happen. From start to finish there were minimal hiccups and very little stress. Thank you Tyler for heading up this one, you did an excellent job dealing with venue issues and police issues. Also, for giving Derek and I a place to chill out for a bit before making our trip back to Chicago. Big thanks to Laugh for allowing us to use their space to transform it into a psychedelic playground.
Thanks to everyone who brought out artwork to share. I always enjoy seeing other people's art peices. There were a few people spinning poi and staff who were pretty entertaining, thanks for that as well 🙂
I really got into Dragon's set, the basslines were very trance inducive and driving. I was up and dancing a good portion of the night so I'd have to say that pretty much a ll the music I heard was well put together and fun to listen to. The sound was at a good level too; loud enough to groove to but not so loud that I couldn't hear at the end of the night.
It was a lot of fun to play my first psy set as well. Thanks to everyone who stomped it out till the end. Props for still having the energy to be up and dancing at 6am! Can't wait to see everyone again at SEOA!!
AscensionKeymasterWhat a great event this was!! Deco looked fantastic; several people commented on how cool it was to see the place transformed from comedy club to psychedelic environment. Lasers were a great touch without being too much. All the other added bits here and there were positive additions to the event (toki's fluid setup, john hall painting, the styrafoam contraption Andy made and other local artists sharing their creations).
The music was exceptional from beginning to end and the energy of the crowd showed it. I had a ton of fun playing a set and getting to play a new track of mine. Getting to hear Dixon's Violin at the afties really capped the weekend in a wonderful way for me. I'm really looking forward to doing more events at that venue in the future.
I took some videos too:
