Nowhere do I find any serious presentation of a logical argument on her site. I poke around and it's all nonsense. Hurricane Erin for instance–what is the significance? Nowhere is it stated clearly. Just a lot of paranoid hand-wringing about “anomalies” without a coherent argument anywhere in sight.

See, the big problem here is that the entire site–and most of your spurious claims–aren't based on any argument at all. A motley collection of unexplained anomalies is not a theory nor an explanation. It's just random stuff that you don't happen to have an answer for. Same stuff comes up in the evolution vs creationism debate all the time. Irreducible complexity for instance. The claim is made that some biological structures are too complex to have evolved therefore they must have been designed. In a lot of cases we actually know how the structures evolved (i.e. the eye) but never mind that–for all those other cases we are stuck with we're not sure yet or directed energy weaponsit was designed! And that's why creationism is a failed dogma–it is nothing but logical fallacies, lies, misinterpretation, and spurious, irrelevant nonsense, just like what I've seen of your directed energy weapons “theory.”

What I see on Judy Wood's web site (aside from, sweet fuck, a BLINK tag) is information overload. I have no idea where to begin so I checked out “key evidence” (which isn't really evidence at all; just a list of anomalies with no references as noted). Now you tell me this is the “Cliff Notes version” and if I want to be something other than a lazy PITA I need to read an article. Fine then. If I click on the link to “Star Wars Beam Weapons” at top left (where I assume you would find something ultra-important) I find a page that has been under construction since 2006. Seriously!

I won't bore anyone with a detailed description of what I find. There isn't an equation in sight, just a lot of armchair engineering claims stating this or that isn't possible. This is followed by some absolute nonsense about earthquakes that appears to be disproving that the towers were toppled from the bottom up by a controlled demolition. Duh. Here my patience runs out. I guess I'm just lazy, aren't I? Or, more likely, whoever is running this web site has failed to get to the point because they haven't got one.

Yes, her website is not the most visually appealing, but it is well organized if you stick to the toolbar on the top. When you click one of the subjects, such as Hurricane Erin & 9/11, it will then take you to an index page and simultaneously expand the toolbar so that all 7 or 8 pages regarding that topic are revealed. It does look a bit retro and old school, but it is well organized for the most part.

secondly, her website is a collection of evidence, evidence which MUST be explained by any conclusion or theory that is put forth to describe how the towers came down. The best theories / conclusions explain as much of the evidence as possible, and in this scenario, the only conclusion that describes all of the evidence observed at ground zero, evidence which is presented on her webpage, is the conclusion she has put forth. There is no other conclusion that has ever been presented that accounts for all of the evidence on her website. (she lists sources for 99% of the photos, graphs, and data on her website. Most of the photos are from Congressional and NIST data bases / photo archives from ground zero. Some of the graphs came from seismographs around NYC, and some of the graphs are from magnetomer stations in Alaska, and there are other graphs as well.)

I am not going to continue talking about this because now are we are debating conspiracy theories so I think we should stop, but I just wanted to say Thank You for taking the time to glance at the site, no matter how briefly that glance was, because I imagine that the small amount of time and effort you spent reviewing some of the evidence is far more than many people in this world have put forth. A lot of people in this world let others do the thinking for them, so thanks for at least taking the initiative to look at some of the evidence for yourself. I truly appreciate it.

If you still want to bet on whether or not I will be jumping to a new conclusion / theory any time soon, I am willing to put up to $100 on the bet, but that is the maximum I can put forth due to lack of funds. I live on student loans, and I won't have a job this summer, so I need to pinch pennies right now if I am going to survive until mid-August on what I have left from this semester.

the bet is not whether I am right or wrong though, the bet is on whether or not I will be “jumping” to a new theory sometime soon.

in reality though, I am not afraid to bet, because I did not “jump” to a new theory… i simply found out about a bunch of evidence that I had never before seen, so I thoroughly investigated that evidence, and found that the theory I was previously supporting did not explain this large amount of new evidence. so, like any good scientist would do, I threw out the old theory and went with the newer theory that explains ALL the evidence.

the only way I would be changing to a new “theory” / conclusion would be if a bunch of new evidence came out that I have not seen… which is very unlikely.

thank you for sticking up for me Emily, but please stick up for me because you believe in me, not because you think I am going to lose my money. i wouldn't bet on something unless the odds were in my favor, and the odds of me shifting my support to a new 9/11 theory is very unlikely. for the first time in my life, I have far more answers in my head than questions, regarding the events of September 11th, 2001.
