Why are you so concerned about me being late? It didn't affect anyone/anything …. I just got that feeling after reading your and Nate's comments that I'm the reason shit went wrong lol.

I guess I can't expect from everone else the same laid back attitude I have  8)

ok Damon (I almost started to like you after that trip but you are being difficult on forums again ;D),
    you coming to pick us up over 1 hour later then you were supposed didn't affect all of us being late for the party – is this what you wanted me to say, so here it is;
you know there is nothing wrong about being laid back and everything but you should be also concern about the others having the same comfort of being laid back (e.g. girls having the time to throw some fresh cloths on and do some basic make up).

venue – great..large with lots of space to take chill breaks and arrange different stages with minimal sound bleed.

deco – could be better ..not much effort on the deco side which is normal for Minn standards..the Intellephunk room looked like a dungeon which seems to be their preferred theme..bar code art was a nice touch..:) people were eating it up..!!

lasers and sound – betty looked superb!!..there were some well timed moments that looked spectacular..nice one tim:) Hope someone took some video for later viewing..I was wondering why she was pointed downwards when she is supposed to be so strong so as to burn a cigarette? I was always trying to get out of her hitting my eyes..lol..

LOUD!! should have brought earplugs..the sound in the Intellephunk room (L-Acoustics speakers) sounded more crisp and clean compared to the Uncensored room (Martin sound) where it was very loud but muddy..during P ooze's set..the bass was masking all other freqs ..mids and highs could have been better balanced..compared to the raindance main stage system, this one was louder but not as clean..

I guess Sacred earth cant come too soon for me:)!! Open air baby:)

Machi, we have you down for Bi-Polar two on Halloween. I will definitly get you a proper slot on a huge sound system, but only if you promise to be there when the doors open. No more showing up at 2:30 in the morning. I waited outside for you for 45 minutes and missed most of the ooze and Devine. Maybe you SHOULD come by yourself? Theres more to the party than just your set.

That's the thing, there was no my set…
I don't know why you waited for us outside for 45 minutes when we agreed I would call you when we arrived which was 12:50 not 2:30.
Now, if you book me for the latest spot available don't expect me to be there when the party starts. I don't get 80% of hardcore shit those dj's you book play plus I would have to get totally faked up to enjoy it just a little bit which I don't like to be doing before playing my sets (although all those dj's who don't care don't have a problem with it).
Get me a proper slot and I will be there early.

To make things CLEAR (cause I don't want to be blamed for something I didn't do) – we arrived around 11:15pm and I was behind the decks 5 minutes later. The rest of the group decided to go to hotel and prepare for the party …..

Damon, inspite of the fact you were late for your own set,
there where two ladies with ous who needed to refresh themselves before the party after sitting in the car for more then 6 hours and I don't think there was anything unusual or wrong with. I always want my wife to feel pretty and comfortable at the parties, I guess another weird thing on my part  ::).

Machi, you have no idea what music went on in the other rooms. There was plenty you would have appreciated. BTW, you play end of the party music or beggining of the party music, not peak time music. You will always play before midnight or after 3 am. I guess I should have you open if I want you to be there early 🙂

vibe – typical Minn Vibe..The vibe in Iowa is created by the people who attend the gathering and there must be something in the food Iowans eat:) that makes them warm and hospitable..I should stop comparing the two vibes because that just brings out more disappointment..

    Yes you should  ;D

Great. Now you're trying to portrait me as a careless mofo who doesn't care about anyone besides myself. Nice  ;D

well, I plan my sets accordingly to the time slots I am booked for and the fact that I love spinning progressive doesn't have anything to do with it. I showed a little bit the range of types and speeds of the music I have and play during the party in Iowa back in March where I started my set at 130 bpm with housey trance and built it up to 145 bpm full-on. You are the ones who book me for those slots or chillrooms where I can't really open up and then label me a “end or begining party music dj” – really not my fault. I have twice that much full-on music at 144-146 bpm than any other stuff.

Get me a raging full on demo and I'll get you that prime time slot on the “light” stage at bi-polar 2. You still gotta be there early though 🙂

she can light things on fire within 1 meter of the focus point, that was also partly why I got the mesh, so I could take peoples eyes off of the beams and have them focus more on the animations.

believe me, where ever I have her pointed, is in full accordance of the FDA.
