HARDKORNATEMemberI'm playing a friends wedding and would love to have some wedding themed music to play.
Anyone got remixes of…
Billy Idol – White wedding
Here comes the bride
The Hokey Pokey
Hava NagilaAnything else that a crap wedding DJ would play, but I need the psy version.
Mr. RobotoGuestMy wife and I got married a year ago today! This was also the same time as Secret Fire and I was told that someone played a psy rmx of the wedding march. Not sure who it was, or what track, but it's out there somewhere. 😉
SozeKeymasterSquaremeat made a remix and played it at SF2. They won't give out that track though..
HARDKORNATEMemberHmm, maybe I'll have to DMC it using traktor to lock it to a beat and some hardcore records to supply the kicks…
EnergonMemberWhy go traditional at all? The Hokey Pokey, Chicken Dance, etc blow!
Show grandma and grandpa how we get down 😉If i do hear anything like what you're looking for I'll let ya know

They won't be there. They are throwing a rave the night before the wedding. I want the tracks just to be a huge dork and cuz I think its funny.
ProlinGuestI had the top 4 dj's in the state and area at my wedding reception.
And My best friend played to a packed house of nothing but beer, friends, Loud loud PSY/DnB/Techno.Best wedding reception and most talked about All year that year.
HARDKORNATEMemberYeah, if I ever end up getting married, its gonna be my own personal rave.
I think I'd book Doormouse and Dan Efex…
ProlinGuestlet me know. I have Dan and Dan's Numbers

What?
But seriously, if anyone wants to up some remixes of crap you would hear at a wedding, I would much appreciate it. Just for the cheese factor…
Nameless OneParticipantPlaying psy at a wedding is something of a curse. People want music they recognize–what you have isn't it. A remix might sound like a good idea, but I don't know… anyhow, I went through with this not so long ago, so I do have a bit to report. Eat Static's funky stuff went over well, as did Bluetech and Hi-Fi Companions. I would also suggest looking up an obscure 1999 compilation entitled “Electro Lounge” and pay special attention to “Stay”… sort of a glitched remix, but it's been working wonders at weddings AND psy-chill tents (people always come up and ask what it is with wide-eyed wonder for some reason)…
EnergonMemberI heard a nice psy mix of “You Spin me Round” (Dead or Alive) on di.fm today.
That's prime wedding material (think sandler's Wedding Singer) 🙂I don't have a copy to give you but here's the info on the album:
http://www.tranzfusion.com/music/showMusicReview.asp?id=1593It's by The Freaks, BNE/YoYo records.
