For instance, here's your mix link all condensed…
        http://tinyurl.com/fsz7t

Listening through, there would appear to be weird glitches at 5:12 and at 7:43, etc.  Something with the encoding?

PsiloPsyBen is a big advocate of this contraption, which helps lessen line noise (that hiss/hum you'll sometimes hear in a recording)…
        http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/UA1EX/

Also, many tracks come in waaay bass-heavy.

The tracks themselves are good.  This is a “night mix” for sure, but other shades apart from “pure terror” are flirted with in the form of Z-Machine, Cujorious One and Procs.  So, while I commend it for not being an endless procession of darkness, the flow feels a bit up and down.  In my line of thinking, the Cujorious One track “My Voices Don't Like You” would have wound up being the intro or the outro, just because it's the most proggy and laid-back of them all.  Sandwiched between two heavier numbers, it sounds somewhat out of context.

Technical crits out of the way, thanks for sharing!  I look forward to future installments.

from my end He sounds like i did when i first got a mix to a few of you.  we are still working out the recording glitches on Gru-V's pc.  i also agree with the Cujorious One track.  Flow is still a work in progress (isn't it that way for all too a point), and everyone is always working on the equing thing in some aspect.  its weird seeing myself now and having a close friend be where i was at not too long ago.  i know personally the drive and passion for the music is there, its just a matter of time.  I will also check out those links to get the links to look better.  the links look great on ravens web page  ;D

I'm still waiting for Gus to say something on here about this mix.  just cuz i dont want to be the only one talking for him.

and on my own personal note i love all the feed back that is acquired from posting mixes here.  every one seems to know that there will always be constructive criticism, and that can do nothing but help.  so thanks everyone for your thoughts on the mixes

To be quite honest, Paul & everyone, I was going more for a night mix in the 1st place.

Flow is an ongoing process for me, as far as maintaining a certain level & keeping it there, rather than just going up & down a lot.

I got a chance to listen to the mix on my headphones @ work, I must say that you guys are right. The Cujorious One track should have been the intro OR outro track for the mix, but as I said before, I am learning. Also, I realized that the sound quality will get better & less crackly, unlike this mix was.

3rd, I love hard minimal tracks such as the Procs on the Sanaton comp (which is limited to only 400 total copies made). I was feeling that track @ the time & decided to put it in this mix.

Finally, I hope that I did not discourage anyone with the mix that I did. I do want to create more psy mixes & possibly play a set live somewhere. Thank you to all. ;D

by saying “this so … and that is so …” I did not want to criticise anybody nor anything.
