that's exactly how much we paid for both of us: Alex and me but again, we'll be in cali tuesday through monday.

Yeah it's always more to fly just on the weekend and at those times. Next year when I'll have an extra vacation day to use I'm going friday-monday. Of all the flights I found, this combo gives us the most time at the festival without getting back at a ridiculous time sunday night since I have to work monday.

Rentals aren't that expensive if you get someone who's 25 or older. I can never tell because last year when I booked the car online it said it was gonna be like 65/person between 3 people (even with the under 25 extra charge) and then when we got there it ended up being like 90 something/person due to some other taxes/fees.

That can be a possibility. Let me figure out the exact dates with my friends but I see that you wont be able to stay put till Monday and I am sincerely thinking of taking the Monday off.
