Such an excellent weekend despite not getting to belden until 2am saturday. Was cool to see the event being noticeably bigger than it was last year. I met a ton of new and awesome people as well (some that I knew beforehand and finally got a chance to say hi to).
I really enjoyed the music I heard on both stages all weekend. Some highlights – Bird of Prey, Ekoplex, Helios, Kameleon & Labyrinth chill set, Outersect, Meta (favorite live set of the weekend), Facehead, Onkel Dunkel (maybe shoulda played at a different time- excellent music, but lacked the drive I would like to hear at that hour of the night), Earthling, Daskinimurti (favorite dj set of the weekend), Gatto Matto, Coral, Machi, Clandestine.
Thank you Rich, Lawrence, Monkey, and everyone else who contributed to this amazing event. This year was so special since I knew a bunch of people out there before I went and had a wonderful time talking and reconnecting with all of you!! I am definitely inspired to continue to make music and improve my djing skills and hopefully share my love of music with all the wonderful people who attend Gemini and make the event what it is!
