Yes, it has been a while since this event took place, but I've been very very busy lately and I've had too much going on to find time to sit down and get a good grasp of everything that happened… but now I have found some time!! a 40 minute break in between classes haha… so here I go.
We arrived late on Friday night after picking up Bobby from the Airport. We were greeted by Eddy and many friendly individuals, including the owner (can't remember his name..). The place looked awesome and it was nice to hang out inside and in the tree fort with some cool people 🙂 After some chillin we got to sleep in a nice comfy bed for the night. The next morning/afternoon was really chill and relaxing, people were slowly showing up, vibe was growing, people were gathering in small task groups to help set up things. Everyone was very well prepared things seemed to move pretty smoothly. Got to enjoy a very dynamic range of genres and tunes outside, It was different than most parties in progression at this point but was interesting and definitely engaging. I didn't spend much time dancing really until it started to get dark out then I did a little boogyin and bouncin here and there. Chill stage (dome) was great all weekend, loved the environment in there! Great workz guyzzz. The wookie tent was SUPER trippy to run/walk through (even while sober hah). I thought that was a pretty cool/unique idea. Al and I enjoyed a period of nostalgia pushing eachother on the swing, which was very interesting in combination with psytrance hah, I felt like I was really a little kid again. I can't thank the owners enough (and anyone else who contributed) for making us all food for the weekend, that was AWESOME! and it was deliciousssssssssss. The psychedelic Jam band was interesting… at first I didn't really like it, but then as they kept playing I realized that they were playing to the mood/vibe around them in general. They would (seemingly) randomly stop playing at times and let the sound resonate, and then do everyone would come in and add more and more over the top until the intensity level was through the roof and then cut it out just like that and smoothly transition to a new vibe. Very psychedelic stuff, awesomeness. As the night progressed I needed to retire to the tent for a while and chillax… totally forgetting that the burn was just about to take place. So I missed that which I was really disappointed that i did… I got to see some of the fire spinning projecting onto the mirrored screen projector dealy which was AWESOME…. but other than that I missed it all except for the screaming, oooing and Ahiiing and clapping and happy positive energetic vibes. This was the turn point I missed before the night was directed inside to Otherwordly atmospheres. I walked inside during Dan Efex's set and was immediately overwhelmed. Dark psychedelic techno trance is what i Heard! Sooooooo cool! never heard a style quite like that before and it was a treat. I could definitely SEE the impact the music was having on the people inside and the environment it created around all of us. Righteous. The pumpkin carving lady was crazy haha i've never seen that before. The dancefloor was epic, what a success. After Dan Efex, Bobby and I had a reaaaaaaaaaally reaaaaaaaally fun time playing the night time slot. We've never had that opportunity before and we were very happy with the result. Saw some really cool dancing/innovativeness going on down below; a lot of the people who were laying down upstairs seemed to have migrated downstairs to trance out or dance. The enclosed environment definitely amplified the intensity level of the music. Our best live set yet and it was a perfect environment to share it in. After this point I was pretty tired and cracked out, but I continued to stay awake and vibe the music, played a cool sunrise chill set outside (i'm curious what people in their tents (if they were there) thought of it) then kinda took some naps inside and chilled out the rest of the time until the party came to an end. All together, it was a really really really fun party! Awesome people/environment/vibes. The land was beautiful and so was the mansion. I look forward to partying at this location again with the same people (if not more!) 😀 AWESOME JOB EDDY AND ANAND! and all others who contributed! (IE. everyone!) Anand you were dearly missed at this party, and we miss you even more still, can't wait to see you sometime in the near future buddy!
