Well I've finally had time to collect my thoughts after an AMAZING weekend!!
First off, I know it's redundant but I have to express my thanks to Tyler and Scott and the rest of the Chilluminati crew who once again threw a killer party! This was only my 3rd visit to a psytrance event but now that I've got some momentum built up I'm just not gonna stop coming! 😀

Before I get to the music I want to say that I was really impressed with the vibes coming from everyone as individuals and as a community. Despite certain people I felt were attending for the wrong reasons, as the weekend progressed they too fell in line with the positive vibes I could feel resonating throughout the campground. I truly believe that this community will only continue to grow and become stronger.
It was really nice to see some old faces that I met at Sacred Earth this year, and it was also a huge pleasure to meet so many new and exciting people! I had an amazing time interacting with everyone and anyone I was able to converse with.
Pete the farmer, I didn't get any of your contact info and would like to keep in touch, if you read this hit me up 🙂

Also I want to express my appreciation for all those leading and attending the workshops. I spent most of my saturday morning/afternoon at the chill stage listening to very very interesting conversations about the universe and other things relating to everyday life and the good of mankind. I would have loved to have chimed into the convo a few more times but I was very exhausted from Friday night/early saturday morning where I had some pretty cool interactions with Daksi and Professor X :). But otherwise I thoroughly enjoyed acting as damp saturday morning sponge absorbing the information and knowledge being passed around the circle. Shortly after I was delighted to have Machi and Carli come by to do some breathing exercises and yoga!! Truly the highlight of my saturday afternoon because it made me feel so much more wide awake and rejuvenated! So thank you thank you :D.
After that we started in on the music production workshop… seemed a bit unorganized but I think that was because Scott didn't show up for an hour 😛 But I really enjoyed being around all of the other artists and I think next time we should do another workshop like this, where we hook someones computer up to the sound system and we can all work together on some sort of project, this way when someone notices an aspect of production that can be implemented or utilized in a more productive fashion, they can just chime in and shed their light on the area; so as to fill in all the holes. In my experience each artist has their specialties as well as areas of weakness, working together I think we can all help each other become better musicians and even be a lot more efficient at showing others how to utilize this wonderful art 🙂

As for the music, WOW, what an amazing display of art… let me start with the chill stage

the chill stage (dubbed the mushroom tea den…. out of some sort of vibe coming from the area… could have been the mushroom umbrellas… the trippy spandex… or the mushroom tea 😉 )  created an amazing environment for sound just by the way it looked. Walking towards it at night was a trip in itself! I can't even begin to explain some of the amazing sounds I heard coming from that stage this weekend. Usually I find myself stomping on the dancefloor and only retreating to the chill stage after tiring and just to rest and chill out. But this weekend I found myself getting pulled toward the chill stage sooo many times. There was actually a point during saturday morning that I started to walk towards the main stage, but stopped halfway there, and could not bring myself to go to either stage because what I was hearing out of both were so beautiful, I wanted to stay right where I was.
Honestly, I never really knew who was playing at the chill stage but I loved every bit that came from it. Though I had a few highlights.
Scott – I don't know what the heck it was… some sort of Chicken-BOK dub-step. with the chicken going bok.. bok… boGOK! in a tripped out rhythmic melodic. Everyone at the stage was laughing so hard haha, and I have to say the way you did the little head-twitch in sync with the BOKs was hilarious. Anyone who missed this performance missed out on a really good laugh. Art and comedy is a pretty sweet combination, so thank you scott for taking advantage of that :).
Robert Rich – I only caught a tiny bit of his performance but I remember walking up to the chill stage and seeing an amazing display on the projector screen then becoming captivated by the music and how the images on the screen added to the environment. I caught myself thinking “Wow… who's this?” so i pulled out my line-up and wallah!! Robert Rich. Loved the accoustic synth he was playing. I didn't stay for long because I had to go back to my tent to get some rest.

As for the main stage I'm disappointed in myself that I wasn't out stomping more… I spent a lot of my down time trying to stay rested so I could get up to play at 6 AM sunday morning. What I did catch was terrific though 🙂 Daksi, Professor X, the last 30 minutes of Random, Toki and Geal (loved the bright suomi it was great to dance to! there were some awesome vibes on the dancefloor sunday morning).

The reaaaaaaaally sucky part was going to bed saturday night at like 11:00… I set my alarm for 2:00 AM or something so Bobby and I could get up and check out Ghreg on Earth, Random, Distant System, Primordial Ooze, Kilowatts….  I missed every single one of them 🙁 My alarm didn't go off…  so I awoke from some sort of dreamy bliss that the amazing music probably put me in, groggily look around for my phone and see that it's 5:30!! ahhhhh first live/dj set ever and we almost slept through it! Bobby and I were out of the tent in like 10 seconds, I don't know if anyone remembers someone running around the campground frantically at 5:30 in the morning but that was me! haha. Anyways I really want to thank anyone who was awake from 6-10 sunday morning when we played because really what Bobby and I were looking forward to was seeing how people reacted to our music. Thanks to everyone for the positive comments. If you have any constructive criticism it is always greatly appreciated and welcome 🙂

Once again, thank you to the Chilluminati crew, you guys are the reason Bobby and I were finally able to meet after 3 years of speaking to each other through the use of technology. It was a very uplifting experience getting to know my fellow co-artist in person… we found out we have a lot in common, which is very intriguing! So thank you all, thanks to all the attendees, and I CAN'T WAIT to see everyone at the next one 🙂 Keep in touch.

Thanks also go to Scott for numerous reasons, Igor, Tyler-Androcell, Random and everyone else involved in this undertaking. Carli and Derek – true artists in every aspects, whatever the results are we always appreciate your efforts and intentions you bring in mulitple dimensions – remember, never be afraid to ask for help and ideas with all the stuff you are doing at the parties, the party wouldn't be the same without you folks.
I really enjoyed the music all weekend long although I was really missing that epic sunday morning dancing with everyone like we did last year. Aerosis – your stuff was pretty good but it would sound much better if you reversed your set going from more energetic and melodic goa that you played at the end into more chilly stuff what you started off with.

Highlights of the weekend: Max – you keep surprising me bro, Niki – as said before much much better set and connection with the crowd this time around, total blast; Daksi – massive tunage man awesome djing, such a pleasure to meet you man; Professor – such a nice fat and driving crunchiness in the morning that kept me jumping all over the place followed by Collision vs Travor tag – awesome djing guys, seamless mixing, you prove your skillz over and over and I know you are “dark” characters but it would be total blast if you stack only to morning sounds at this time of the day in the future. Primodial Ooze – organic and trippy as hell, Androcell/Distant System – man your stuff is healing my mind and body every time you project energy into the air… and of course Xcience – I have never had so much fun djing in my life. So special thanks to my crew member, teacher and brain behind the whole operation – Paradigm. Airyck – you are just awesome human being, total goofball (so is Lorenzzo) and one of my top dj's. Thanks for the support guys, belive it or not it was a challange to me and thanks to you I think I did well. Another special thank you to Travor and John for keeping three of us hydrated during our power hours bringing delicious beer to the dj booth. So cool.

I had a bliss leading my workshop about the breathing – hope it helps. Thank you JeffZ for organizing and hosting all of them (huge hug).

I love all of you guys and was really happy to be able to socialize with everyone: Nicole – finally, Sunra – finally, MoP familly, Caroline, Keith, Agent, Erick, Alan, the whole polish crew from chicago including Damon :-), Pauldo – always good to see you bro esp with that Medusa chick and thanks for bringing your sister Julie to our gathering, the list goes on and will ad some more when I remember more names.

Are you sure? There were about 6 people on the dancefloor when we went up, looking zombified as heck, I really didn't want to welcome the sun with the 150bpm stuff we played later on, people already looked collapsed from being on the dancefloor all night before that – I was anticipating people being really tired at this point and so played our own warmer tracks and then we took brought it ever faster and faster for the early birds that soon showed up to join the dancefloor.

If the time slot was different and we played at like 4 am, then I agree we totally would have reversed the set to get into the morning sound from 6-7:00 — but then follow that up with suomi DJs? Then that part wouldn't have made sense. I think this was the best configuration we could do given our music, our exclusive suntrip DJ set, and the other energies around at the party.

At the very least though, you guys know the goa sound now and can plan best around when you'd like to hear it, should it be played at your parties anytime soon 🙂 I personally think its great late-morning daytime music, or alternatively good night music if the darker stuff is played preceding a darker set.

I agree though alltogether darkpsy transitioning to morning goa is not something that can be pulled off, I was hoping for some more melodic morning style stuff playing before we went up

Sometimes you feel totally exhausted but the right music kicks in and keeps you jumping anyways. Ideally, if you started building up a little more agressive at the begining you would have had much bigger audience as your music was pretty inspiring. Just honest feedback nothing else  :D.

yeah I think I agree that it should have been reversed. people would have forced themselves to stay – I gladly stayed, but maybe that's because I listen to Aerosis tracks on a constant basis in my daily life and was waiting weeks for that moment.

thanks to everyone that made this happen.  I had a very memorable experience.  My energy was low as I was pretty sick over the weekend, but overall everything worked out really well.  It seems like something is up in the cosmos at this moment so any major decision or event cannot go flawlessly at this point in time.  with earthdance that one flaw was the rain 🙁  but other than that everything worked out really well.  The cosmos is setting it up for our events in the future to be even better, with many surprises to be had!  There could have been more promotion, as I would have liked to see more new psy heads (especially from far away), but for the people that were there it was magnificent. 

thanks to everyone involved!  You are all deep in my respect and please keep doing what your doing!  my fav sets of the weekend – Random and Daksinamurti all the way!!!  keep up the amazing work guys!  And thanks for all the people at Trevor and I's set.  We had a load of people for the time and everyone seemed to really be getting down.  For some reason I was able to turn my sickness switch off for a little bit there and had a whole lot of fun keeping it goan.  thanks for everything Chilluminati!

I agree with this aswell….  I don't care how dead I am, if the right music kicks in i'm still going!  I was dead for Random but certain tracks made me stomp, the energy stems from the music.

Yeah, I agree with Machi, the energy drop totally did me in. I really wanted to stay but it was not energetic enough for me to remold myself to last until daylight. Felt like a brick wall slamming into me, totally my opinion of course but seemed like a major drop in energy levels after Ghreg/Random.
