I think I ad the opposite experience as the rest of you softies. 🙂 Greg on Earth, Niki,  and Ekimskrid were the highlights of my weekend. Robert Rich was simply too dull to keep my interest. I think I may have an allergy to slow music…

Haha it was the same for me…

It was just a really great feeling to be back at a psy party it feels like I haven't been to one in quite a while and I had to have this before the end of the summer to fill the void.  Upon arrival I was greeted with many missed hugs 🙂 and was very happy to see everybody.  I was dissapointed of it being held inside but it was for the best.  Actually that building it was in was pretty awesome despite the hugeness that left it more empty for deco but the sound sounded amazing in there.  The kicks were so crisp and clean mmm just fucking tasty :).  After I got settled in it was off to the trancefloor.

Psychohazzard was playing and got the night started off right for me to get me into a trance that would last the entire weekend.  Next was Symbiotic and the Psyntist where I started freaking out but halfway through blacked out from the various drinks I had consumed but still danced furiously from what I was told.  I became concious at the time Trevor and Chris were playing and still had lots of energy early on.

Saturday I calmed down a lot on the drinking since these events are things I want remembered.  Saturday night was truly amazing for me, Xcience started the night off right, then Mike tore the fucking roof down.  Wow Ekimskrid keeps impressing me and that was the PERFECT timeslot and I think my favorite set of the weekend.  Next was Ghreg on Earth…  3 hours of fucking insanity at times almost too much but I stuck around for most of Ghreg's punishing amazing set.  WOW just wow.  Next was Random with a nice little change of pace got more people up and dancing again which always brings smiles to my face :).

By the time Aerosis was on I was about ready to heel over.  I hadn't slept yet the whole weekend and found a nice spot near the stage so I was able to hear a few tracks before finally falling asleep.

What a great way to end the summer :).  So great seeing all of you before summers end, sad to miss some of you…  Missed Ritesh, anand, blake and rachel, and dakota.

I loved the little mushroom umbrella type things whatever those were they were awesome.  Those ballons that illuminated in the sky were awesome too.  Those little cushions at the chill stage were sweeet.  Paul's Medusa was awesome, originally seeing it across the lake and going wtf is that it's awesome hah.

Thank you Chilluminati for all the hard work of putting this amazing event together and bringing all these wonderful people together.  I'm still glowing :).

Thank you Nate for your gift to me which I never got to thank you for :).

Thank's everyone who fed and kept my broke ass hydrated…  I become the human garbage disposal of anyone who couldn't finish their food gave it to me and it dissapeared haha.

I'd like to add that I appreciate that some music is too much for some people, but under no circumstances should promoters buckle under to the softies! If you get rid of the hard stuff, you WILL lose a large chunk of support. Some of us only come because theres brutal music included in with all the fluff.

Also, if you don't have TRUE darkness, how can you possibly appreciate the light?

The way I see it is, no one dances the whole time anyways, so not everyone has to like it the whole time…

Hey people!  I would like to thank everyone for a wonderful weekend.  It was really great to stomp with all of my old friends and also some new ones.  I had a blast playing Sat. morning.  I wasn't totally happy with my set because I had to use Tyler's computer and my playlist would not load.  So I was trying to remember the tracks I had planned, but I was drawing blanks and my flow wasn't perfectly planned out like I had practiced.  Oh well I still had fun and it seemed like most enjoyed the full on in the morning.  Also I think being inside the warehouse like building took away from the theme of Earthdance, but what can you do with weather like that.  Overall it was a good decision to have it inside, but my feet hurt from stomping on the concrete all night.  I didn't get to experience everyone's set like I wanted to, but what I did catch I really enjoyed.  My favorites were Daskinamurti, Psychohazzard, Geal, Toki, Energon, Robert Rich, Distant System, and Primordial Ooze.  I agree Greg on Earth was kind of all over the place at first.  I liked it better when he started his live pa, but I had to leave when he slowed down the tempo.  I was dancing really hard and then all of sudden I couldn't understand his sense of direction.  I then ventured to the chill stage to stumble on Robert  Rich.  OMG what an artist.  He is a master of sound and perfect manipulation.  Just seeing him playing all of those instruments and beautifully composing all of it on the fly.  Absolutely Amazing!  Perfect meditation music.  I totally missed Random due to lack of sleep.  I slept more than usual at this event because it takes a lot out of you being responsible for children and their well being.  I really must thank Allison for setting up the kid camp and making everyone feel welcome.  Our kids had a blast with you and I am sorry if I didn't help out as much as I could have.  I would like to get more involved with the activities next year.  Having kids is still new to me and I need to stop being so selfish.  Thank you for making me lead the conga line, it really helped me tear down some walls.  All in all, I had a great Earthdance!  Thank you Chilluminati!

My weekend was pretty scattered.  I don't know exactly who was playing when.  I just know it was in that same time frame.  Does it really matter Nate?
