Thank you to everyone who participated and helped to make this event happen. It was really great to see everyone again and celebrate the ending of a beautiful, exiting, memorable summer. I had a lot of fun meeting new people and getting to chat with some old friends.

Thank you to all the wonderful people who got the fires going by the stages . . . I wouldn't have made it without them  😉 I always enjoy sharing the warmth of a fire with my fellow dancers and camp mates.

Despite the chilly, damp weather I have a great time at Earthdance. Although I was disappointed to have the psy stage moved indoors, I knew I'd be thankful for it once the rain came. After roaming around in the rain it was really nice to be dancing under a roof and sheltered from the weather (IMO).

Props to Scott for the cosmic spandex!! Great set-up at the chill stage- When I was walking towards that stage Saturday night while Robert Rich was playing I felt that I was walking toward a magical alcove. Very nice  ;D

Lots of great music ~ I really enjoyed Xcience, Robert Rich, Androcell, Kilowatts, Aerosis (what I had time to catch). Really enjoyed Ooze, very drippy and crunchy sounding.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to decorating the main room. There was A LOT of space to cover and Derek and I could only do so much. Everyone's effort really helped to make the space colorful and interesting.

I really want to thanks Carli, Kevin, Abraham, Machi, and Derek for running workshops. They were a big success and so many people were thankful for them!  My pronoia workshop was small but really got some good in there too, so that was touching!  A BIG thank you for all that came and attended, made me real happy to see people participating and had a couple people back from Earthdance last year!

Everyone really came together for this and that was beautiful. All the pieces are there, just need to spread the word more and get more newbies into it to fill the frame we have created.

I think I ad the opposite experience as the rest of you softies. 🙂 Greg on Earth, Niki,  and Ekimskrid were the highlights of my weekend. Robert Rich was simply too dull to keep my interest. I think I may have an allergy to slow music…

YeEs Sir…Ghregg was like rusted machines slowly grinding away at  brain matter.  Verrrry deep shit. 😮

MIKE freekin tore shit up.  He looked like he shit was gonna shit himself before his set, but it was preparation for some seriously sinister sonic goodness.  He looked like a madman slowly bending the dancefloor untill sheer chaos ensued.  Very great set, nice tracks, smooth technical mixing.  It was so awsome.  I really regret not catching Robert Riches set because now everyone is talking about it, anyone have a recording. ???

This party was awesome from start 12am Saturday to finish period.  Big thanks to Tyler, Scott, Igor, Scott, Smokers Den, Sonic Commanders guiding us through our sacred journeys, everyone and anyone who helped, the amazing dancers driving the party through out the days, the stimulating artists who created an amazing environment, people who realize what this stuff is all about!  Man so much good music!!!!  I love rediscovering the music I love so much at every party I go to, it's boundless!!

anywho, this weekend was an amazing experience for me all in all, starting right from the ride up from Chicago with Pauldo. we were going to camp in an out-of-the-way place, but 'lo and behold, we ended up RIGHT by the chill stage, where Medusa rose triumphantly from the earth! I spent alot of the first night running around trying to set up a few pieces of deco I brought, which gave me ample opportunity to check out alot of the music on the chill stage (which by the way looked phenomenal with Tyler's fabric setup!). I was very happy to have people recognize the man in my portrait! I was worried it would only serve to confuse  ;D

on the chill stage, my favorites for the first night that I caught were Anita's set at the start of the night, Tim Clark's unique run, Select A+B's funky and humorous set in the middle of the night (“hey guys, who wants some whiskey?!” … “my mother baked these cookies, come and get 'em!”), I really hope he'll post that mix. and of course Random, who gently elevated me to sleep for a couple hours. the truth is, everyone I heard on that stage was amazing.

during Friday night I ran up to the trance stage a couple times… my favorites were the Psyntist, Niki, Collision + Alien Audience, and Professor X.

for Saturday, I definitely was blown away COMPLETELY by the vasssssst majority of music I saw the entire day and night. I can't even list my favorites because there was so many, but I'll try my best…

in no particular order: the Great Mundane was definitely the best live experimental hip hop set I've ever seen. what talent!!! Robert Rich was epic as everyone has already said… Kilowatts was great on the chill stage… I caught a bit of Scott and Igor's chill set, which was great (slow, lurching, groovy)… Lisa (Ixnee) was GREAT! please post a recording, that was such an amazing breaks set! an amazing ending to the morning with Derek (Energon's) beautiful “space music” chill set.

on the trance side, the Xscience three-way tag was awesome, Ghreg on Earth was simply punishing… I was looking forward to his twisted brand of IDMish dark psy, but by the end of his set I was thirsty for a little relief, which Random graciously provided (if you could call that relief). finally, at the end of that long and amazing night came AEROSIS! the set I was waiting for for weeks… they did not dissapoint, despite a sluggish start. I wish more people had been dancing, but I personally couldn't stop moving to the music for pretty much the entire time… I really wish I got a chance to chat with Bobby and Jeremy, I'll just have to email them or something.

I thought the deco was a bit weak with the main stage untill the MOP guys added their stuff Sat eve. I know Energon had planned for a outdoor set up, so chalk it up to the weather and not planning or lack of effort. With so many stark white walls in the building, fully deco'ing it out would have taken alot of stuff… still it was a little… meh… No ones fault really just the fact of the situation.

I would agree completely, however, I cant say it was exactly weak at first, but things definitely took off saturday night. The tapestry and everything definitely helped give an enclosed feel to the place which I think added to the intensity.

Knowing now that I could've brought some deco definitely changes things for the future. I'll definitely help to exploit the experience,.

Massive props to PakaPaka, with the youtube uploads, nearly inducing a flashback,.  But it an excellent way. It was great getting to sit around the fire in the mornings and late hours and chill with many of the dj's, especially ixnee, and dj mystik (erik) I wish I could've sat down with more of you to get to know you guys more but that will grow in time.

ps; I'm only hoping that someone recorded Kilowatts's set and if so can someone send it too me, that set blew my already fried mind.

Awesome, thanks. When we initially arrived, we began setting up our tent, then me and my friend heard something funky in the distance forgetting the tent, we trekked in the dark threw the woods, down a steep ass cliff and staggered to the chill tent, and things came alive.

Actually any feedback any of you might have is invaluable for us, the best way you can thank us for our music. We were trying to bring the music into the light in the morning, difficult doing so transitioning from some 148-150bpm high energy darkpsy, but yes as you said…by the time the sun was up I started seeing some real smiles. I agree the music wanted abit more of a dancefloor but it was the 3rd day of the party after an intense night, I don't blame anyone for being a little tired – started off slow and dreamy exactly to give our minds a little break…seeing these comments here I see it worked for some and less so for others but then its all taste isn't it 🙂 Gotta say though, had a blast shifting over to suomi in the last hour (9-10am?) – never DJ'd that style before and it came out really good – I was excited to hear where Adam and Toki were going to go with their suomi sound, this is a style goaphiles love but from my observation I don't hear it getitng played anywhere except, well…with you guys! I'm actually super psyched to try and bring some of that stuff to some parties here on the west coast…

Man oh man there is so much stuff to sink in… I already miss all you guys and the many wonderful people I met… I hope I can come back to have some fun again…maybe with some more dreamy sounds for you beautiful people 🙂 If you guys liked us we'd love to come back!  til then you've got Jeremy as your local goa boy!

Pretty much…hands down the best weekend of my life.  Earthdance 07' was something very special to me last year, the trip of a lifetime if you will…  Earthdance 08'… completely brought things full circle for me.  I really want to thank Scott and Tyler and the rest of the Chilluminati crew.  Without you guys this wouldn't be possible.  Secondly I would like to thank everyone for coming and sharing and being a part of this weekend.

I'll be brief with the music…

Friday night, Symbiotic, Psyntist, Niki, Daksi, Alien Audience and Collision!!  Really enjoyed all your guys stuff.  Symbiotic and Psyntist, can't wait to hear more sets from you guys!!  I didn't even really recognize but a few of the tracks you guys were playing.  Way to bring some darkness to the night.  Niki…I liked your set much better at Earthdance than at Uncharted Territory, great choice of tracks, one right after another.  Daksi…It was great to get to see you twice within a couple weeks.  Great selection of tracks to bring in the light.  That track off of Psychedelic Dimensions!  The Papersquad track!!  NICE!!!!!  Chris, Trevor…great fucking job laying it down from what…9am-12pm was it?  Solid solid mixing from both of you, kept my attention the entire 3 hours!!  Very nicely done.  

Saturday Night, Xcience was great!  5 hours of some of the most uplifting energetic tracks brought by 3 of some of the best DJ's I know.  Way to do your thing guys.  Ghreg on Earth…so amazing to listen to (i didn't find myself dancing too much tho).  =/  I think I found the best sounding spot on the dancefloor and just listened to absolutely everything that was happening within the music.  Rusty, mechanical, glitchy, goodness.  Random, got me dancing again, even though I didn't have an ounce of energy left in me.  Great job from everyone!!

Well…all in all a fantastic weekend.  Thanks again CHilluminati and friends.  See you all in Space.

Musical highlights, Ross' chill set especially and his Sat. night, also the Oozes', Trevor and Chris threw it down and even the music agreed with me. (funny story) Xyience…PUH and Aryick, mystical as always. Mike you know I dont like a lot of dark but fuckin a man, you laid down the drizzle homie, keep it up!
