Sun Ra you should consider Vancouver too, and Sunshine Coast. I can easily see that as our future home, after we've gotten sick of gypsy wanderings. I can't see living the rest of my life in the U.S. though I'm not sure we've decided on Canada yet.

actually, that was part of the plan… get to oregon work my way up to washington (i actually almost moved to a remote part of washington on a self-sustainable off-grid property a year or so ago)… then get passport and work visa ready to head on up to BC… i have been eyeing their energy fusion with the scene for some time now… i prefer a grounded spiritual intent to my endeavors and it looks like BC has extra helpings of it for me… and if i don't settle there, i will certainly gain a lot of experience with what they are doing up there to bring back with me to the states

and PARADIGM… i am aquainted with the couple who are in charge of the nor cal altars… they are lovely people (and were wonderful friends for me at my very first psytrance event i attended out in the mojave desert to initiate a centralized dance fire to make it more ritual and less party)… i am also aquainted with the portland crew in charge of gil events in oregon having lived there and participated in organizational meetings and whatnot, as well as aquainted with the nor cal crew in charge of gil events… i enjoy the creativity they bring to the events, making certain there is a purpose behind each gathering and at least an insinuated spiritual/ET intent if not outright ritual proceedings for those who know… i have never been to any event east of illinois…

and was it you FIXER who moved the luminaries zig zag in the middle of the night? professor x giggled when we came upon them fully expecting to see them all on one side again, and as we noticed the zig zag we got mental meltdown as we were totally trippin… i think that was the highlight of my experience at this event which was not related to the music!

I got offered a contract there only a few months ago, but it's not time yet to move. Canada has some of the most wide-open work visa quotas in the world. You should just hook up with a multinational and make it clear you want to locate there, the work visas will follow pretty easily. You have to get the job first. There are lots of job hunting sites.
