It's that room in the back where you go to find your lazy friends who can't keep up in the mainroom.

    oh my friggin god…

i have to say that i miss all of you positive people so much right now.  i really really needed that evening…it was really special to see all of you that i miss so much, and all of you that have popped up in the last few months/weeks/year that are also becoming part of this scene.

i spent the most time i have at a psytrance party just TALKING to people.  i normally am too busy hanging out with just a few individuals or dancing…but i spent quite a bit of time just talking to people.  i really cant wait for the next 3 day next spring where i can do it again and have so much more time to do it.

abe, i wanted to send a special shout out to you.  when i told you that i wasnt doing too good, you simply said, “why, you have tables at home.  you have music.  you have more than a lot of other people have.”  its so simple and yet so true.  its hard for me to realize it right now because im heartbroken, but you are right.  i have this wonderful music and i have all of you amazing people.  every single one of you makes it what it is.  thank you all!

    Well Now….WHAT A PARTY!!!

It usually takes me a few days after an epic event such as Double Helix for me to gather my thoughts, emotions and feelings that I have experienced.  This was one monumental event for me to say the least.  I stood amazed when I looked out at the PACKED trancefloor at eleven O'clock.  Considering that the scene around here *had* the “fashionably late” kind of attitude…that obviously changed.  There are a lot of changes surfacing in this community.  It's really starting to show.  All of your collective energys, positive attitudes and the rays of radience brought by you to each and every single one of our events, is beginning to glow white hot.  We are changing the paradigm of thinking as to what this means.  People are embracing it, cherishing it and without a doubt FUCKING LOVING IT!!!!

I must say that at Double Helix I met a lot of good people.  I met a lot of people who were so enthusiastic about sharing the trance experience formally had by them with new friends.  I was shocked at so many people bringing new faces to this.  Not just because it's some party.  But because they want that new person to relate to the AMAZING time that they has at a previous MOS party.  This to me is almost too heartwarming to handle.  This was one of our best indoor parties hands down IMO.  Sooo good to have all of the ever growing family stomping together to some of the wildest tunes ever heard in one night.

The music was sensational to a whole new level.  It started with a phat boom as Cybershamen broke the silence with some sick slinked out breaks.  It was an awsome way to kick things off, really motivated some early bootyshakin out of people.  Always a good thing.  Alien Audience whipped out his tractor beam and before any of us knew it we were on his spaceship, zipping and flipping around the cosmos as his full on madness powered us into hyperdrive.  I really had fun tagging with Abrahm, the synergy that the two of us have behind the decks really makes it a pleasure playing with him.  Some dark, energetic fun was had by all!  What can we say about the Ooze that hasn't already been said.  OH YEA…You guys are phenominal DJ's as well as an amazing live act.  Flawless mixing the whole time, and that last track had some serious bite to it.  Like getting bitten in the funny bone, I loved it!

Lauryn and Eg-Bot had to be my personal fave for the night.  I don't know what the hell happened when they got behind the decks.  All I know is that that pure essence of psychedellia slithered and creeped its way into my very soul.  Phenominal tunes.  I would have to say that this is the core of the type of music that wakes up every single cell in my body–Visene for my third eye.

Arahat and Chromie.  ?!?!?!?!?!  My oh my.  You guys are true masters of your craft.  What amazing music.  Arahat with the techy, pounding, mental wizardry.  Then Chroma with that airy sharp morning sound.  When these two guys were behind the decks.  I was in paradise, I think that everyone else who was there was right there with me.  Chris blew me away with the morning set, it was effin fantastic.  Better than what I expected, as always.  Lawrence, your set at the party was outstanding.  Although what I was more so amazed by was your set at afties.  I was so pissed that I heard only half of it.  Buy OH MY, I have never heard prog sound like that, it was so perfect.  You definetly have to play that for a techno party up here one of these days.  Minimal tech heads… here is your new buddy Lawrence.  It was outstanding.  Big booms to all musical performers you all were phenominal.  I hear the chill room was legendary by the way.

I must thank each and every single one of you who I met and who came to our event.  You are the reason that we continue to believe in the power of this amazing music and culture.  Keep your third eye open and watching for our next event in January.  Big thanks to my brothers Chris and Abe…I love you guys.  Thanks for all of the amazing conversations and the many wonderful friendships hatched on this amazing night.  Keep telling your friends and spreading the love about this.  Keep the positivity flowing like a perpetual waterfall; and the smiles everlasting.  I hope everyone that came out had an amazing night and took a lot of unforgettable experiences and moments from Double Helix–I know I sure did.  Stay happy, live life, love the life you live and KEEP IT GOAN'!!!

    Much love to you all

    BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!

    Nick
