When performing a normal or advanced search I'm getting this error every time:

    Database Error
Please try again. If you come back to this error screen, report the error to an administrator.

Honestly, I'm not sure if this ever worked because I don't know if I've ever tried doing a search on here before 🙂

Used to work for me but doesn't now.  I know there are keywords in previous posts but they don't come up in the results.  If mods need a keyword to test try “mybrainondrugs”.

when I search on something I don't expect to find, like “derby is a jackoff”, I get “No results found”.

But when I searched on a string I knew was present, I got:

DROP command denied to user 'chillform'@'localhost' for table 'smf_tmp_log_search_topics'
    File: /home/derby/forum.chilluminati.org/Sources/Search.php
    Line: 1006

Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum's files are currently at version SMF 1.1.4, while your database is at version 1.1.1. The above error might possibly go away if you execute the latest version of upgrade.php.

only Derbi wan Kenobi can help us now.

i got the same error about a month ago, but then searched again right afterward and it was fine.

    still no workie for me

I even searched on the word “mom” and no results were returned.  I know we've talked about Damon's mom a million times on here over the last couple years.  ;D

Ohh…. I get it. The search field is contextual. Makes sense.

If I just run a search for “mom” when I'm looking just at this topic then the search works.

When trying to search anything larger than a single forum topic then I'm getting the database error. Say… the entire “Comments to Moderators” board.

this is basically broken. a search that only shows results from the thread I'm in right now is useless. And I shouldn't be getting the lame error messages.

I just saw a post on here from derby like a week ago.  That means the derby post clock starts over and we should probably expect to wait another three months before we see a response to this issue.

In all honesty though, I apprecite the work you guys do from time to time to keep this place up and running.
