Well, let me tell you people, going through 500 shots aint easy. That being said, after half a day, here are my favorites (77 in all)

I think a great idea would be have an event that starts at midnight or even later  and ends at noon. But cycle thru genres and build energy with a single stage. Downtempo to breaks, to prog to psy, with the psy not coming on untill around 4am. By that time the crowds should be amped and waiting for it, and still have the energy to go strong into the morning……….

thats a great idea paradigm…. hmm that sounds like a good idea for a single night event where you can go into the afternoon../..

the friday night curse will always be, where everyone just worked all week and drove all day to get to the event, by the middle of the night even with “Help” its hard to power thru.. we have this problem a lot being far away from just about everywhere….
either that or the saturday night curse, where everyeone raged on friday and then feelin all wore out on saturday night, missing all the action after a night and day of  raging, and gettin a little sleep before the big day sunday which usually involves drivin home and goin back to work on monday.
oof.

and yeah, whether its a rave or not, some people dance, some not. its not as disrespect, its just about everyone doing thier thing.  to me, thats what raving was about and its the same thing tranceparties are about too. tho i think psy festivals are one or 42 rungs up the ladder from raves, at least in peoples mindset and evolution….

and yeah deco takes a long time… i know all about it. spandex, ladders, blah blah. oof. building and hanging the zome at SEOA kicked my ass.
and yeah  djin' takes a long time to make connections, develop a style, prep/pick out rockers, and lots of mental energy to hold all those bindis in place,
and for me i cant dj without dancing, and we all know how much energy that takes!  my set in the afternoon heat at SEOA kicked my ass. 
and then one of the zome models fell down, more work on deco. yay!
before anyone can bitch about one or the other, try doing both at the same time…. we all have our roles, and we choose them. some of us like having our ass kicked more than others….

as far as sacred spaces go, you dont need “STUFF” to do that. its all in mindset.  spandex, lights, crystals, geometric stuff, theyre just eye candy right? or are they… i do believe that, like yantra, sacred geometry and vivid colors represent divine energetic balance that our subconscious mind can feed on and align with.  but it can be done in the forest, desert or on the beach or anywhere else theres no blacklights. its funny though, humans and thier talismans…so is it worth all the work? i would think not sometimes, though i wouldnt have spent days of my life working crazy deco hours for almost every single one of our parties, if i didnt beleive it was NECESSARY. nothin like a gemini for some contrasting statements. 😉

but what counts is that youre all doing it.
doing it up.
doing it well.
its all trial and error.
lessons learned.
and experiences had at the last party are not the same at the next.
same goes for the learning…. its an evolutionary process.
or at least as someone sometime said, “doing the same thing over and over again is either insanity, or rhythm.”
or something like that.

i love hearing that you guys had a safe, well attended, fun event.
i love hearing how well everyone played and knowing all the smiles were there

I finally recognized you…after I walked past you.  Then I was too shy to turn around and say hello.  I really am very shy believe it or not.  I did say to myself though ” I shall challenge my shyness and say hi to that Phil guy the next time I see him”.  Always worried people would think I'm a stalker or something if I say I know them just from their pic or profile or postings on a forum thing.  It would actually be the polite thing to do to stop and say hello if you recognize someone.  I did intro myself to Ben's brother though but only because you guys look so much alike that I just knew he was your brother.    ;D

Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all the folks who made last weekend happen.  It was my first Chilluminati event and I was overwhelmed by how amazing it was.  I have never seen such a nice, open, helpful and caring bunch of people in one place.  It inspired me.  Reconnecting with nature was something I badly needed to do and thanks to you guys I got the chance.

Big thanks to Paul and Julie for getting me to go.

You really have a special scene going on and I hope it grows as a movement so it will spread across the planet.

Keep up the good and important work.  My soul was replenished and I thank everyone there for that.

Yeah Chris, you made it onto the forum!  Thank you for traveling to the party and trusting it would be good for the spirit.  Chris is an old friend and it was great to get our little group of friends out to a party together.

I do totally belive that good hearted old skool ravers would totally dig our scene.  Our people are so in it for all the right reasons.  Even if an old party person attends one of our events for one last party they should come to one of our parties.  If they had any bad vibe's from the rave scene then our scene is a wonderful way to heal and make peace with “rave”.  Or if someone ends up attending a couple parties a year or just one, I think it's a perfect tune-up to the spirit.

Awesome time was had. I wish I could've gotten there earlier but another gig on Friday night plus travel time had me arriving at the grounds shortly before sunset on Saturday. For being my first Chilluminati event ever and the first outdoor event I've attended in quite some time, I was thoroughly impressed by all the DJs, the crowd, the atmosphere.. everything =)

I'll deffinently be back for more.

By the way, I really enjoyed the industrial dance set. The full moon was
rising and this was the perfect segway set to psytrance.

That's kind of a macho approach. It works for me but not for everyone. People get involved in these parties for many reasons and when they feel shortchanged, they will eventually just walk. And not everyone is easily replaceable. Some losses can be disastrous, particularly when they were working for free or at a loss, and we might not have the money to hire a replacement.
