The lobsters are just overly topical and lack any sort of punchline. It's like reading some jaded cynic's webblog. That and the art never changes.

But you think that crap is funny?  Wow.  Some people just don't get intelligent humor, I guess.  Comics can be anything with still frames, characters, and dialogue in my opinion.  They don't have to be funny, though I like ones that are.  I find the lobsters very funny and they are one of my favorite strips now. 

To each their own I guess.
