Our deco artist Priestess needs one or more serious, dedicated deco artists to help her with 2006 Chilluminati parties.
It is not necessary that you be a trained artist, but you will pick up skills and will be able to do your own art. We will buy supplies and materials.
Our creating a space at Chilluminati parties is now limited only by the number of deco people working at the event. The great thing about deco is that you do all your work BEFORE the party, so you can kick back and really enjoy the party once it begins. There is also breakdown at the end, but with multiple bodies working it that can go quick.
What we are looking for is:
- Reliability – somebody we can count on
- Ability to come to all Chilluminati parties, and show up at least 8 hours before beginning of party, or day before (WE CAN GIVE YOU A RIDE IF YOU ARE CHICAGO-AREA.)
- Have access to your own car (IDEAL BUT NOT ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY)
- Time to help on art in the weeks leading up to the event (IDEAL BUT NOT NECESSARY)
- Creativity and fun!

In return you will get all the glory and recognition of being a Chilluminati deco artist. You will get credit on all our projects and become part of a really amazing tribe. 🙂

My Wife and I would be more than willing to help. though the only issue we have is being at all the events. due to scheduals and money. and we are usally the first ones to events anyway. minus dreamfields.Â

YES, exactly. A deco party could be a good compromise if we don't find a single person who can full on with it.

It is not so much the time leading up to an event that I need help, it is mostly help during set up and take down. As long as one could be at an event at least 2 to 3 hours before attendees arrive, preferably earlier, they could be from Mars for all I care.
An art party before would be fun, but as the Fixers knows quite well, I do my best work under high deadline pressure. ;D
I think it would be more likely we could truly coordinate arriving together if the deco person was from Chicago and maybe could caravan with us. The further away people are it seems the less likely they are to be matched to our schedule.
Honestly we need several people there 8 hours before the party starts. There are so many things we can do with the deco if we had 4 more people. Whoever can truly commit and can stay with the deco until it's done, would be highly welcome.
