There will always be Massives. When I was raving back in SF circa 92 you had massives, the same people that threw massives also threw amazing break-ins and such that were dirt cheap. People like different things, some like saying, “I saw the #1 dj in the world” and mark it off the records, good for them. If they are happy go for it. I'll do my thing and be happy too! I prefer 400 people max outdoor events with down to earth musicians and plenty of extra things going on. I say if that's what they want to do, just don't go if you don't like it…(besides it draws the cops away from our events lol)

i played a underground sound show last july at the venue.  there where 2 psy Dj's on the second stage (PSI Control and Psilopsyben) and there was a live pa psy act from New York (Elephantronic) that played the main stage.  also the same people brought goa gill to the central mid-west. its fun watching the way everyone seems to forget things that have happened.  psy trance IS at every show in the mid-west, and the growing populatiry is going to lead to psy only stages at the longer events.  hell look at last year.  the 3 parties i got booked for.  Midwest Freak Fest return to the cave on 7-7-07. Future:Perfect where there was a Psy Stage. and Camped Out where there was a psy act the first night, and most of the second day was Psy on the backpack stage. 

You can not go forward unless you know where you already have been.

^^^ depends on what you like, i guess.  In my opinion, a quality psy-party is anything but single genre – you know this Nate — i think that psy sub-genres are far more diverse than all the other genres/sub-genres combined.  but that's just me.
