I would imagine that the physicality of BM could make for a difficult “experience” at times. 

Years ago I had dinner with some friends and had mushrooms on my salad.  I had worked all day and then drove 5 hours to reach my friends apartment.  I was so very tired and after eating, I went to laydown in my friends bedroom to take a quick snooze.  My body was exhausted but my mind was not.  I thought that if I feel asleep everyone else in the apartment was going to come in and eat me.  The heavier my eyelids got the closer they were to hovering over me ready to dig in at the moment I finally fell asleep.  So I got up and took a bunch of leftover party flyers and I spelled out the word LOVE across the floor of my friends bedroom.  It was to ward them off but I also wanted to teach them that there was a better way of being than eating me.

Yes the physicality of your environment and your body does play a factor in your experience but you do have the capacity to “speak” over/above/beyond that.  You do get out of the experience what you put into it and who you are as a person has the final word.

I do look forward to my BM experience whenever I do go.
