PookztAok wait, upon re-reading this extremely well-written article, i think i can answer my own questions. please correct me if i am wrong Robyo or someone…
1. the Trap is that Obama used this move to get the votes of republicans in congress so that he can pass the healthcare bill for his country.
2. now people realize that not all democratic presidents are peaceful presidents, so now we are forced to actually look further into the candidates to make sure that we vote for a candidate that will bring about Peace, regardless of what party he or she belongs to.
so to recap, Obama is doing a good thing for his own country by passing this healthcare bill, and at the same time, his move for more war will ensure that the next president we elect is truly a peaceful one.
does that sound right?
this article is badass, i have to say it again, that whole info about the pipeline and how pipeline economics play a major role in our foreign policies is so cool, i bet lots of people never knew that or thought about that. i also think it is cool how it talks about the 'cold war mentality' in which many US foreign policy makers are all about the US Empire and are trying to maintain strategic control of areas of the Middle East. sweet article Robyo, thanks for posting this. in my opinion, the title of this thread is RIGHT ON.
