*edit*  I've been doing some reading online about this subject and would like any member of any fire crew to contact me.  I would like to know if this would be feasible without seriously harming myself.

Lots and lots of fire retardant clothes. When you see stuntmen do it, they light their back on fire to avoid injury and it only lasts for like 5 seconds. I saw some show where they were teaching ordinary people how to do this, it was pretty cool.
