Sacred Earth Open-Air 2014

Daksinamurti is an ethnologist and international psytrance artist from Marburg, Germany. Besides being a DJ, he was managing the South Africa-based labels Timecode and Sangoma Records with Gata Freak from Doha. With more than a decade of experience as a musician, he had represented labels including Shiva Space Technology and Nexus Media and was then playing for Peak Records. His live act Android Spirit, together with Tickets/Brethren, launched in 2013 and was working on an album for Timecode Records.

Vimana is the sonic craft of Mariano Tur from Mexico, a DJ and producer with a unique style. His tracks lift the spirit with melodies and a solid groove, with production and mixes focused on psychedelic trance and progressive music for daytime dance floors. The source described the project as an original, powerful and electrifying ride through mysterious realms of time. He was producing full time and gathering and releasing music for labels including Ovnimoon Records, BMSS, Geomagnetic and Blue Hour Sounds. He was also label manager of Kupuri Music México and co-producer of Kupuri Festival.

Coming from the mossy forests of the Northern Lands on the west coast of Elven Country, Kaminanda's evolving sound was described as a playground of original deep midtempo grooves, tribal rhythms, creative trip hop, complex dub and lush downtempo textures. Live sets incorporated guitar, keyboards, flutes, melodica and vocals and were designed to take listeners and dancers through diverse landscapes reflecting the evolution of collective consciousness. The source listed appearances at Entheos, Shambhala, Symbiosis, Beloved, Rootwire, LIB, Burning Man, Earthdance, Envision, Boom and Eclipse Australia.

The source presented Annunaki through a fictional mythology: the Annunaki arrived on Earth seeking an exotic beat to facilitate trance states, genetically engineered Homo sapiens as machines for dancing, and eventually found new patterns and rhythms in Goa, India. Their research was said to have concluded as they prepared to enact their creations, ending with the question of whether they were gods of good or evil.

After coming to North Carolina in the mid-2000s, The Fuzz abandoned urban life after following the sounds emanating from Asheville. Finding the T.O.U.C.H. Samadhi collection, The Fuzz settled in nearby Greensboro to cultivate further sounds and rhythms. He discovered classic Goa trance in the early 2000s, explored the progression into psytrance and beyond, and retained a focus on classic influences and sounds in production.

Playing and producing Psychedelic Goa Trance for more than 15 years, Kri was described as demonstrating dedication through close attention to every aspect of the experience, including performance, composition, mastering and promotion. His mixing skills earned the respect of promoters around the country, while his event-production work helped elevate the annual T.O.U.C.H. Samadhi fall gathering into a premier East Coast trance festival combining live and electronic music, psychedelic visual art and a message of universal peace.
