Doppler = of, relating to, being, or utilizing a shift in frequency.

Deflect = to cause (something that is moving) to change direction

Doppler Deflect = To shift energy in opposition to the way it was moving.

Born as an Southern Illinois (visualize nothing but corn and bean crops as far as the eye can see) native, DopplerDeflect was consistently told he was a big fish in a little pond. It took 3 years of touring the country via 18-wheeler for him to decide that it would be Florida where he would learn how to dive deep in to music. From dark metallic backgrounds such as Nine Inch Nails and Static-X a new musical mesh was born when an aspiring artist attended his first ‘rave’ otherwise known as Ultraviolet. It was this consciousness altering experience that ultimately blended light with darkness. With a broad range of styles from chill to chaotic, enter the psychedelic soundscapes of DopplerDeflect.

The Dragon's medicine includes change and transformation, wisdom, infinity, longevity, movement through space, and the supernatural.

Tradition may give specific qualities for dragons of the elements of earth, fire, water, and air, however, in general terms, the Dragon’s power is that of shedding its skin and coming out as a new, transformed being. The Dragon provides us with fierce protection and possesses inherent magic, representing the supernatural and infinite self.

First introduced to psychedelic trance music, Ascella attended her first festival, Sacred Earth Open Air Festial in Pidgeon Falls, WI in 2014 - and never looked back. Always having a passion for music, she had never found a sound that made her feel so alive, and granted her the ability to lose herself in dance. Finding this enlightment through psytrance, she began attending festivals, helping host shows, cultivating her passion, and eventually began spinning in 2016 - hoping to give back to the community who had already given her so much.

With a focus on morning sounds, Ascella strives to take her audience on a mind-revealing journey through the use of enlivening music and eclectic sounds. Her sets are constructed around her love and study of astrology, as she draws on inspiration from current astrological transits to allow her floor to experience and connect with the energies surrounding them. Through her music, she hopes to envoke emotion and connectedness through dance to oneself and to one another, and to weave together a story to which her listeners can all relate.
