Tim McCall is firmly regarded as the premiere full on/progressive GOA psytrance producer to emerge in the past decade from the USA. He is known for creating energetic and atmospheric trance music, although the Jirah name has occasionally been associated with a more downtempo style. Coming from a musical family, he learned many instruments, with guitar his favorite. He grew up listening to a mix of rock and early techno and experimented with digital processing from the age of 12. His first exposure to Goa/psy music came with the 1997 release of the “Blue Room / Trip Through Sound” compilation, setting him on a direct course toward producing his own sound. Jirah was born during this period, and Tim continued refining the project over the years. His debut album was released in 2003 on USTA Records and received strong reviews and acclaim worldwide. Jirah's music appeared on more than 20 compilations from labels including Dragonfly, Aleph Zero, Organic, Harmonia and Spliff. Since his first live show in 2001, he played throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas. In 2005 Tim took a break from songwriting and performance. After a three-year silence, he returned with new projects on the way. Tim McCall was represented as Jirah and Resonant Dawn through the multimedia label Psymbolic.

Aaron Peacock, aka oCeLoT, had been producing electronic music since 1993, mostly for himself but with several releases over the years. In 2000 Aaron began releasing under the name oCeLoT, and under vectorSelector from 2003. He lived in San Francisco during the late 1990s and early 2000s and was influenced by the pure family vibes and beautiful parties of the time. His music changed considerably over the years, exploring chillout, minimal, melodic psy, nighttime psy, groovy psy and even drum and bass. He relocated to Europe in 2005 and was generally found traveling to perform at parties, events and festivals wherever people wanted to hear his music.

PhasePhour has its roots at one of the northern peaks of the planet: Norway. Several band members had been involved since the beginning in 1997. At the time of the event, the project was primarily in the experienced hands of John Robert Egeland and Eldar von Essen. Over the years PhasePhour moved and evolved through various musical landscapes. Its production was evolving toward a massive psychedelic full-on sound intended both for dance floors and repeated listening between parties. With numerous releases on Shiva Space Technology, Geomagnetic Records and Chill Tribe Records, and the debut album “Boiing & Zipp,” the project had earned a place in the international psytrance scene as a leading project from Norway. PhasePhour had performed to packed audiences in Brazil, Mexico, San Francisco, New York City and Scandinavia.

Christer had earned a reputation as a versatile DJ through focus and hard work. His skills developed both technically and musically after his first experience behind the mixer. His DJ sets provided a wide and exciting range of psychedelic trance with one main intention: to make people dance. Christer was a label DJ for Shiva Space Technology and Mechanik Records. He released the compilation “Mental Displacement” in March 2006 on Shiva Space Technology. Gatto Matto had been a DJ since 2004, though first and foremost an avid dancer and lover of music. He joined the Green Sector collective in early 2005 and became an accomplished, multi-faceted psy and progressive DJ able to play day or night, with a specialty in transforming twilight into sunrise. From 2007 he was a resident DJ and organizer of Synchronize, described as San Francisco's longest-running weekly psy event. In 2009 he joined the Space Elevator team to help bring a psy stage back to Burning Man. Gatto discovered psychedelic trance at Burning Man in 2001 and began attending underground Los Angeles psy parties the following year. Inspired by ecstatic and transformational dance-floor experiences, he became a DJ to create similar experiences for others. Rather than preparing sets in advance, he tailored each journey to the moment. Jeremy Green, performing as Jagno Gaia, worked with Bobby Ognyanov of Los Angeles over the internet to produce unique Goa tracks under the alias Aerosis for Suntrip Records, an international psytrance and Goa trance record label. Jeremy had also teamed with Josh Stahnke, known as Optic Mind, to spread positive vibes and cultural awareness through small psytrance events in Duluth and Woodbury, Minnesota. The Primordial Ooze project was created by DJs Kaiser Soze and S.O.T. The Ooze sound was presented as a unique twist on the ever-changing sound of psychedelic music.

Gnomes of Destruction, abbreviated GoD in the source, was a collaborative effort between two brothers, PsiloPsyBen and Saeros, who sought to bring listeners the darkest beats in psytrance.
